At our previous company Growdash, we built an AI agent called Aisha. She handled real workflows for real customers — and the model itself was the easy part.
The hard part was everything around her. Every deployment needed model routing, guardrails, PII masking, human approval flows, cost tracking, and tracing. We rebuilt that infrastructure from scratch, every single time.
Then we talked to other teams shipping AI. They were all rebuilding the same things. The same plumbing. The same walls. The model was never the bottleneck — the operating layer was.
So we built the layer we wished existed. We called it PromptRails.
